| Paediatric Rollators |
Rollators have been used extensively for many years as a walking aid/trainer for those who need stable anterior (front) support. The use of rollators should be controlled and monitored by a physiotherapist or other qualified personnel. Rollators can be used in two ways. Firstly, with the handles set at waist level and held close to the user as they move forward. This suits those with good arm and shoulder strength. The second method has the user’s arms out stretched and flexed at the elbow. In this case the handle bar is set higher and the user moves with the action of pushing the walker away from them and then stepping forward.
Quest 88 Rollators are very robust and designed to encourage the user to walk within the frame’s footprint giving the user a greater sense of security and improving their walking rhythm. Quest 88 Rollators feature stainless steel components, comfortable yet long lasting handgrips, and have options such as front swivel castors and “pram handle” style hand bars. They can also be folded flat for storage and transportation. Quest 88 Rollators are available in 4 sizes covering all age groups.
