The Upi standing frame combines a functional vertical stander design and a strong visual identity with an emphasis on positive control of posture. The Upi’s hip and thoracic “wraps” offer comfort and security to the user and a positive means of controlling and correcting posture for the therapist or parent. There are four sizes available in the Upi range. The first 3 sizes; mini, infant and junior; follow the same unobtrusive solid base design. The fourth size; the large Upi, has an extending steel base for extra stability but can also be upgraded with a solid base accessory if preferred.
One of the unique features of the Upi is that it can be supplied as a “multi stander”. This means that the Upi can be easily converted between a fully supportive stander (hip, thoracic and tray) to a hip stander, suitable for targeted therapy and ongoing standing development. All Upi standing frames come with an adjustable hygienic, plastic tray and removable activity bowl as standard, and the ability to be converted to a multi stander later on. Additional accessories include optional head support, grab bar and a padded cover to fit over the elbow supports of the tray and the thoracic support.
