The Captain Duo is suitable for able-bodied riders and for riders with special needs alike.

This tandem tricycle can be steered from the rear only or be steered in tandem in order to give the front rider a greater sense of participation in the cycling experience. Similarly the front drive unit can be changed via a simple lever to enable or disable the front pedals depending on whether or not the front rider is tired or wants to contribute to propelling the vehicle. A third setting enables the rear rider to contribute towards rotating the front riders legs and feet to bring about a form of passive exercise.

The Captain Duo is an ideal training bike for those who are not familiar with cycling and who are learning to position their feet on the pedals. The Captain Duo is also suitable as a touring tandem for short and long haul. The rear can be adapted with a wheel chair and/or luggage carrier for this purpose.
