The Medica BALANCE TRAINER enhances existing standing therapy programs by introducing horizontal movement. Using latest therapy methods, the Medica Balance Trainer enhances recognised standing programs through sensory, motoric and cognitive involvement. The Medica Balance Trainer brings the added dimension of horizontal movement to your standing therapy program. In a safe and controlled way, the user is now free to explore greater movement with increased stimulation of his / her motor sensory and cognitive / perceptive skills. The user is supported at the feet, knees and hips. This gives the user greater confidence and hopefully a more fulfilling, less "static" therapy program. 
Through an appropriate therapy program, the user is encouraged to develop more even weight distribution through the feet, a good basis from which to develop greater trunk and upper body stability. Mains and manual lifting mechanisms are available.
